i know some of us have received our letters so i was wondering who else i will be making this journey with for the next 2 years.

my name is allison shaffer and it's nice to meet you. i know we will all be close because it's a small group. it would be nice to get to know some of you before november 17. :)

Well... I got an 86. I'm pretty happy.. I'm officially passing.... lol!!! Now I just need to maintain or exceed a 78 to stay in the program. We had some people drop today... It's really sad.

That would be too funny if you got 88s from here on out. That would be good though!

I think I will be joining y'all. Do you know whereabouts it is at Presby? Brie- are you usually there at that location too?

I go to Arlington... I live on campus at UTA (my husband goes there) and I'm about 7 mins away.

Most of them will go to ECC and Arlington. About 10 of us will go to Presby Dallas and 3 or 4 to Presby Plano.

Arlington has limited seats so I might would ask the instructor before they drive out there... well nevermind, we'll have seats open after today's test... It's not that we have assigned seats, its just that we all sit in the exact seat every week....

Where will you guys take test 4 and the final at? About 10 people had to take their test on scantron because there weren't enough computers! Methodist also attends our lecture in Arlington.

Are your clinicals over? Have you done Peds yet? I have no idea where to go at Medical City. I want to be in the Peds ICU though- I know that much!

I am done with clinicals. There are usually 2 positions available at PICU so let Ms. T. know that you want to be there. She needs a list of names for every floor before clinicals start. We had a choice for PICU, and 2 general pedi floors.

Wow, our classroom is full as it is haha. This shall be interesting! Not everyone shows up to lecture so hopefully there will be enough room for all of us! :rolleyes:

That stinks that you guys will all be going in different directions :(

I only have 2 days left at the hospital and I will do Peds and the admit nursery.

That is sad that we've lost some more people because of this test :( We have 16 people sitting at possibly dropping because of that rule. It will be interesting after tomorrow's test...

When do you guys do your final skills check off? Mine is next Tuesday...:uhoh3:

Mine is on next week Wednesday. I will spend the whole day tomorrow in skills lab practicing for the check off.

Thanks.... I decided to stick it out eventhough I'm barely passing. My instructor meantioned that if your at like a 74, you may not want to risk it because you gpa affects if you get back in or not. They say test 4 isn't that bad, but I'm not sure yet. Lecture was pretty rough today. I hope I make it.
