Did you guys hear that HESI is scheduled for Friday, December 15 from 1p-5p at El Centro? Our lecture teacher told us yesterday...She said if we don't make a 900 or higher that we have to complete some modules and get a 90 or above on each module and they will have to be completed over Christmas break.

Thanks for the date, I didn't know that.

The modules are supposed to be case studies. But we are not going to do the modules because we are going to pass the Hesi, aren't we? ;)

Exactly! Yes, we are going to pass the HESI! Have you guys bought the HESI book? It's a great study guide even for lecture!

I now know why ECC says they have 98% pass rate on the NCLEX and that's because there are only 15 people left! hahaha

My instuctor told us about the test this week too. She said that you can redo the modules as needed to achieve a 90.... therefore no one will fail! So... right now I'm not worrying about it! I think I have the HESI book... is it spiral bound? If so it's very good... and before you use the cd, make yourself a couple of copies because you can only take the exams on it 5 times.

I think our graduating class last semester had less than 15!!! That's sooooo sad...

Brie- yeah the HESI book is spiral bound and I am loving that book!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ON TEST 3!!!!!

Are any of you guys focusing on anorectal malformations? There are quite a few of them and I wasn't sure if we would be specifically tested on each one. How are you guys studying that part? I'm thinking just study what changes they would go through with them or post op care. What do y'all think?

I think these birth deformities are the most interesting yet which is making studying for this test a lot more fun!

How many tests do you have in 2nd semester? The semester is over half way through and you guys have only had 2 tests so far?!? At any rate, good luck all you guys. I have heard 2nd semester is the hardest - hang in there just a little while longer.

I am just studying whatever is on the slides. Do we have anorectal malformations on the bluprint? I didn't see.

Good luck you all. :monkeydance:

It's not on the blueprint, but it is in the syllabus. I'm just studying what's on the slides too. Katie, have you read anything from the book? I heard this test is coming from the test bank from the book.

BOO to the blueprint. I am giving up on that thing. I am just studying the slides and came across anorectal malformations and saw all of the ones listed and freaked out. I've calmed down since then hahaha.

I haven't even opened the book. I still have to study that danged growth and development! hahaha

Where are you studying the growth and development from? We were told that it's going to be on the test, but it wasn't very specific.
