Yes, I am official bag lady! I like cats too! This should make for a great retirement! hahaha

YAY for you Katie!!!!!! :balloons::balloons:

I had my IV check off yesterday and got a 98 because she said I threw the old line too hard after I disconnected it and you would never do that in a patient's room. lol. I just had to laugh and let her have the 2 little points. I really didn't think I threw it in any fashion except for getting it out of the way hahaha. OH WELL! :uhoh3:

these virtual excursions are KILLING me!!! We split them up but I always manage to split them up with people who don't hold up their end of the deal so I wound up doing most of them myself. UGH. Very time consuming and MY HAND HURTS! That's all I've been doing for the past 7 nights straight.

I hope all is well with everyone! I signed up for my FINAL CHECK OFF for November 21. It's in between tests so that is good. And right before Thanksgiving ! We only have 6 people in our clinical group left so it will only take us 2 days to get through the final check off.

Did you loose points for that? Wow, not cool. :confused:

My final is on Nov. 22 and we are still 10. What happened to your classmates? We have only lost 1 person due to a chronic disease.

Katie

Edit: just for the record the person is alive but he had to quit the program.

Yeah, I couldn't believe she took points off for that but I was thankful because the highest grade under mine was a 90 and people were upset. That's why the 2 points just really didn't matter.

We have lost 4 people ( 1 went to NL) due to the pharm tests and that new stupid rule where 2 70s and you're out. We have lost sooo many people total. From the last test, because of that rule, we lost a total of 7 people. 2 people just dropped because they felt nursing wasn't for them and 2 people had to drop because they didn't pass skills check offs. It's been pretty lonely in lecture. There are 16 people right now that could be out if they make below 70 on this next test. That's ALOT!! It's still alot right now...

Poor guy who had to quit the program :( That would be awful to deal with.

Oh yeah- I got an 80 on the last test. It was just STUPID mistakes of OVER THINKING the questions. Our class average was a 77. I have just been sooo busy with these virtual clinicals that I forgot to post. They say test 2 is the hardest so I'm just glad it's over.

We lost only one person to the pharm. I think we may have lost 1-2 due to the 70 rule, and 2 people quit for personal reasons. Everyone passed check-offs, but I would say about 80-90% of the class could be out if they get a 70 or below on any other test... me included! The first test killed just about everybody...

Have you heard anything about test 3 and 4? I have test anxiety now because I cannot fail another test.

Did you guys hear that HESI is scheduled for Friday, December 15 from 1p-5p at El Centro? Our lecture teacher told us yesterday...She said if we don't make a 900 or higher that we have to complete some modules and get a 90 or above on each module and they will have to be completed over Christmas break.

I have just heard that test 2 is the hardest and tests 3&4 are pretty good and where you can make up for a lot of points you may have lost in the first 2 tests. This is all rumor though.

I guess ECC has lost the most students....
