El Centro Spring 2015

Hi all,

I am starting a tread for all the students that will be applying for spring 2015 ADN program at El Centro. Please join and give any info that you might have. I want to be successful as well as everyone else trying to apply.

[email protected] is the email. I emailed them and said asked if there were any available hesi spots open. Theyll want to know what program it is for.

Question: North Lake vs El Centro which campus would you prefer and why?

I want to attend El Centro but the parking behind P Bldg is way more expensive than I remember. I also assume El Centro has a better reputation.

The Northlake program is newer but has the library to study in and it is closer to me. Does Northlake have dummy rooms like El Centro to practice on?

Hi casandrakcvega! It depends on which campus that is more closer to you. Basically, Elcentro and northlake are the same program. Northlake comes down to Elcentro for all their sims, I guess.

See I did not know that. So do you think there is any difference at all?

Oh no, the program is the same. Their syllabus are just exact same thing. Is just one program in two. Hope that helps!

If all the classes we have are from DCCCD do we need to include any transcripts? To show we took all the classes they require. Or is that only for students who took their classes elsewhere? I just want to make sure I have everything in order. Thanks In Advance!

Ok Ya'll so I took the much dredded Hesi A2 today. Not happy with the scores but I'll take them. I got a cumulative of 84. I did NOT study. I had the entrance exam book but I casually looked it over. I have two summer classes so I do not think I want to reapply for the the Hesi.

I will apply with 32pts when I finish my summer classes. All I need is the physical and Immunizations. Its been real crazy to get to this point I never thought I would make it. I'm EXCITED AND GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

You did great(for no studying)!!! And with that many points it sounds like you're in!!! They will have your transcript already if you took classes at DCCCD!!

If you've only attended DCCCD, you won't need to include any transcripts. :)

I applied at for fall 2014 but got denied I wasn't aware of all the points basically. I have a 3.60 in the prerequisite all of the core classes done with a but Hesi did bad 79 and four of the one point each classes done I'm hoping to apply again for spring 2015 I'm retaking the h e s i on June 23 and have taken 3 more one point each classes so I would be a total of 7 if one more of my classes transfer it would be 8 and basically she told me I needed to make a 96 to get in.... anyone taken the test recently have any advice or tips or know what they did wrong in I heard it's te same test you take someone told me same questions but I don't know I just want to know what to focus on last minute cramming
