Eisenhower new grad and JFK memorial Versant?

Published

I applied to Eisenhower New Grad and JFK memorial Versant programs in the Dessert. Both program start around September. Anyone else here applied? Let's keep each other updated here. I really need a job so I applied to these hospitals though they are 50-60 miles away from me. Anyone knows the pay rate for new grads there? I want to make sure it's worth the drive and gas expense.

Also, if you're working at these hospitals, can you tell us how you like it and any advices you may have...

i just called HR at JFK, their program starts on April 18.

Specializes in Telemetry.

Have they started calling for interviews yet? I applied a while back and haven't heard anything yet.

Specializes in Couplet Care/Newborn Nursery.

I applied too, but haven't heard anything. I'm going to call tomorrow and see where they are in the hiring process.

I just off the phone with them and they said that if they haven't called yet, it's safe to assume that I don't get to move on. They received 600+ apps for 7 spots.

Oh well, moving forward... :)

Thanks for the update :)

Exactly what you said...time to move on!

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what interview questions are typically used for the versant program?

They ask questions that are fit for a newgrad, nothing like they would ask an experienced nurse. Questions are not too difficult. They are trying to get to know you.

Does anyone know if JFK has made a decision on who they want to hire for Versant? Interviews concluded March 30th, 2011. I'm not sure if anyone has heard anything after their interview. If an applicant who interviewed is not selected, will they receive any notification? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

I have an interview for Eisenhower's new grad program on Feb. 3rd. I really really want to be accepted here! Has anyone on here interviewed with them, do you have any suggestions?

I'll be interviewing soon for Eisenhower. Any tips you'd like to share? Thanks
