Duke New Grad / SNIP 2013

Hi everyone. I haven't found a thread for this topic yet, so I decided to start one. Who else submitted their application on Feb 1st for the various new grad positions at Duke?

I had two apps forwarded to nurse managers as well (for GEMS). I got an email asking to schedule a phone interview for the critical care GEMS program but haven't heard anything from the recruiter since I responded with my availability. Did anyone else have this experience? I have a feeling they are running behind so we should still have a chance to hear! Good luck everyone!! :woot:

I bet you are right about them falling behind. Did you end up having the interview you were prepping for? Or is that the phone interview you're referring to?

That interview is Thursday. Driving to nc from Michigan tomorrow morning!

Interviewed today, thought it went well- I feel like I could work under the manager and I liked the staff I met. Now I'm keeping

my fingers crossed that I hear back!

Just applied to the ped ICU SNIP position.. I really hope I hear something soon because I'm trying to move there from Louisiana and that would be my absolute dream job! How long after applying did it take y'all to hear back?

Good luck to everyone!! I am not quite 2 months into my SNIP and I love it. It's hard, it's different, but the people have been great. Patient with us "snippers" :) It really is a great program.

I have a feeling they are just behind on everything, understandably. My other two apps that had been sitting under recruitment review status for a few weeks finally just changed to "forwarded to hiring manager" as of this week. So, hang in there everyone! I haven't had a phone call for interview though :/ But theres still hope! And tons of luck to all those who have already interviewed!!
