Hi everyone. I haven't found a thread for this topic yet, so I decided to start one. Who else submitted their application on Feb 1st for the various new grad positions at Duke?
Hi everyone, I just received a job offer today! I am veryyy excited but still unsure if I am going to accept. I have a lot to consider before making such a big move (from Philadelphia). I was hoping for some insight to help make my decision. In terms of apartments, I have heard that Raleigh sounds like the area I'm looking for. I want something a little busier and city-ish than Durham. Preferably with lots of people and nearby restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. If I'm going to be moving somewhere alone and knowing no one, I would like it to be in an area where I am likely to meet people. Any suggestions on apartments in or around downtown Raleigh? I'm also looking for something reasonably priced...
I had an interview with Clinical Transport yesterday (shadow in scrubs on the floor, then interview). Thought I totally bombed it because I hadIf any of y'all are on 7100, 7300, or in the ED, I'll probably be seeing you a lot! I've lived in both Raleigh and Durham since 2001,
so I can give you advice as a local.
Hi Wrench Party.
I interviewed with the Transport Team as well, and accepted a position. I start the 21st, so I guess I will see you around?
Call. Its ok. I had to call. The recruiter who "handled" me had a family emergency and was gone. No one knew what she had done; who she had called, etc. I called and the next day, I was offered the job. I had interviewed for other positions, before. They are a company that will let you know one way or the other.
I waited 2 weeks to call, they had just not gotten around to me.
Good Luck!!!

I'm interviewing with them next week, also from Massachusetts. How's it going so far?
