Duke MSN 2018

Published

Hello everyone! The topic is for those, who submitted their applications to Duke MSN Program Fall 2018.

I am current Duke MSN-DNP applicant for Fall 2018. I would like other Duke applicants to joint this discussion and share their strong points in their applications, and, of course, cheer up each other in this time consuming process.

Thanks Carly! That is crazy. I am FNP route - hoping that they didn't switch to part time as well...í ½í¹„

They did change it to part-time. So the program will take 7 semesters for FNP (MSN) and then another 5 if you're going for the DNP.

The "full time" MSN matriculation plan originally shown was 6 semesters - so how is "part time" now completed in 7? I don't get why they wouldn't send an email out about this to those that could not attend experience DUSON! Thanks so much for your help!

Do you by chance have a copy of the new FNP MSN matriculation plan?

Thanks so much.

I would love a copy too of the FNP plan. The website looks totally different now with matriculation plans..i'm confused! hah so FNP takes a full three years?

I just saw that they changed all of the curriculum links on their website, too. Does anyone have any info/insight to the PMHNP matriculation plan? I had my interview today, so the next 2-3 weeks are going to be torture now waiting for an answer. I do want to find out more about these changes though.

Can anyone tell me how long the full time aganp, msn program is at Duke?

have you heard a decision yet? I interviewed May 11 and still have not heard either way.

I haven't received any correspondence yet. I interviewed on May 7th and was advised that they would send decisions in about 2-3 weeks. I haven't been refreshing my email non-stop- not at all ;)

I applied so last minute for ACNP but they were willing to accept my application for review.. Did you or are we considered waitlist applicants? I would think any day now...

Let me know if you hear back or if you reach out to them for an update. I too have been anxiously awaiting a decision. Last week I was told it would be soon...

I am so curious about whether or not they have changed the format of the program (it looks like it would now be 6 credits/semester and would take 3 years to complete instead of 2). I want to call and ask about that, but have been waiting until I receive a decision, first. Don't want to waste anyone's time asking questions about the matriculation plan if it ends up that it doesn't pertain to me, anyway. Has anyone received any more information on that topic??
