Duke MSN Spring 2019

Anyone else applying to Duke MSN program for Spring 2019? Application deadline is Monday and it's all I can think about! I'm applying to the PNP program. Would love to connect with some other potential cohort members!

Hello everyone. I interviewed for the post-MSN DNP program. I was told that the admissions committee will meet on August 13th and that decisions will go out after that. I'm holding my breath right along with all of you!

That's interesting. I applied for the post graduate certificate FNP and called Monday to ask status (got into a program which starts in 3 weeks so trying to decide). They told me they were meeting this week and decision would come out soon.

I wonder if they meet at different times for different programs and specialties?

I was actually just invited to interview the week of the 13th through the 24th for the MSN-FNP program so I imagine notifications won't be distributed until sometime after that. I had actually almost given up on even hearing about an interview so I was very excited after reading the email. Do most that apply receive an invitation to interview?

I didn't interview until July 24th! I had almost given up as well.

I'm not sure if everyone is invited.....I'd be interested to know. Good luck on your interview. Mine was very relaxed and like a conversation with a professor learning more about you. Just relax and enjoy the experience. They are really great people and do not seem to be interested in intimidation....just really getting to know you!

I definitely wouldn't give up if you haven't heard anything yet. The other program I got into starts in 3 weeks and they called me last week to offer the spot. Hadn't had an interview or anything.

Hi all!! I also just got an interview request email on August 3. I applied to the AGNP Acute Care program. SOOO EXCITED and scared out of my mind !!

I called the admissions office today to find out when decisions will be sent out for the FNP BSN-DNP program and I was told in the next 3 weeks we should get something. She said the program is very competitive this year and they are still going through application reviews. Hope this helps! Still feeling anxious though í ½í¸¬

Do you think it matters when you interviewed? I know we both went the first week. I wonder if they didn't find enough applicants they liked or if they randomly pull applications for multiple weeks of interviews. My over analyzing is making this wait long.
