Duke MSN Spring 2019

Anyone else applying to Duke MSN program for Spring 2019? Application deadline is Monday and it's all I can think about! I'm applying to the PNP program. Would love to connect with some other potential cohort members!

I am right there over analyzing with you! I got an email today confirming that the Admission's Committee would be meeting on August 13th. From there, the decisions are sent to the Admission's office and we will be notified after that. I'm sorry if you also got the email and I'm repeating what you already know. At least, I can now stop checking and refreshing my Duke Account every hour! Good luck to everyone!

I didn't get that email for some reason. I wonder if it's because I applied for BSN to FNP track.

I'm sure you're right. I'll bet each program coordinator has their own committee meeting.

I didn't ask that but when I called she looked up my application and said it's still under review with faculty and I t will be about 3 weeks until decisions go out.

I think that is because we have applied to different programs. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause confusion I'm sure that there are different committees for each focus and that each one will be discussed separately. I'm sorry!!!

Three weeks still feels like a long time away. It also is not very much time for people to be able to prepare to go to the DUSON day in September if they are accepted. I am currently trying to keep myself busy so I do not over analyze. Duke is my number one choice, so fingers crossed for a quick three weeks!

So I just got the email saying to admission decisions will go out on August 24th, so two weeks from today! I have to admit I felt sick when i read the part of the email that says they are taking longer because of the competitiveness of the applicants this semester. Good luck to everyone!

Anyone else just get an email from Duke for the 2019 FNP Program apologizing for the delay in the admissions process due to the competitiveness of the applicants? Has anyone heard back about a decision?
