  1. Oh, and this was for the MSN-FNP spring session.
  2. I just interviewed yesterday. Apparently, there was a first round of interviews already and those that interviewed earlier have already been informed of their admission status. I guess that means those that interview this week and next are part of the second round. My interviewer stated those that interviewed late should know in a couple weeks. And, yikes, only 60 to 70% of those interviewed are admitted? I thought it would be higher than that. My interviewer was also extremely nice.
  3. Thanks! I had actually stopped looking at my application status as I figured interviews had to be over! Good luck to you too. :-)
  4. I was actually just invited to interview the week of the 13th through the 24th for the MSN-FNP program so I imagine notifications won't be distributed until sometime after that. I had actually almost given up on even hearing about an interview so I was very excited after reading the email. Do most that apply receive an invitation to interview?
  5. I think I picked up the term "rounds" because when I called DUSON the person I spoke to referred to the first week as a "round." That could mean anything, I guess. :-)
  6. I haven't been notified for an interview either. Does anyone know how many rounds of interviews they do?
  7. So sorry that happened! Did your application state "complete" still on your profile page? Thank goodness Duke matriculates twice annually. Ugh.
  8. I applied as well--BSN to MSN. My GRE requirement disappeared within the last couple days. That is a relief. I just barely made the deadline and applied only after finding out I was waitlisted at UNC. Still checking my UNC status almost every day though. ;-)
  9. So, don't lose your hope. Being in the waitlist still put you in the run for admission. Anything can happen and anything is possible! Good luck to you all! Thanks for sharing! So you'll be done soon. Wow, wish I was in your shoes. ;-) Diane
  10. Thanks, and good luck to you in VA. :-)
  11. It sounds like some that didn't make the wait list got into some pretty darn good schools! Here's to hoping people decide to go elsewhere so we get our spots I know! I was thinking the same thing. Tee hee.
  12. My experience sounds similar to yours though I currently volunteer locally. I also don't belong to a professional nursing organization. I think I might rectify that soon. ;-)
  13. Did you receive your letter? Hoping you received good news. :-)
  14. Also, I just spoke with the SON and she checked last year's roster for me. They did pull about 7 people off the waitlist for admission. The waitlsit is unfortuneately a large pool of applicants and all have equal weight. If a spot becomes available, they once again review the applicants on the waitlist. They are not in numerical order.
  15. I was also put on the waitlist. I am disappointed but at least I know there is a shimmer of hope. I might apply to Duke now. Their deadline is May 1st. Couldn't hurt. Congrats to you, too, amanda9822. Waitlist is better than rejection. :-)
