  1. Hi all! I just found out today I was accepted to the pediatric NP program at UCSF!! No interview here either. I'm dying for more information about the program, already trying to figure out how to juggle my work and kid schedule with school. I'm in the East Bay (Walnut Creek). Looking forward to getting to know you all :). ~ D'Anne
  2. Hey all! There was a problem with one of my application requirements that I need to fix, and then apply again next semester. Good luck to everyone!!
  3. No word from Duke yet for me... my application was late to enter review as my transcripts were a little unusual, hopefully that's why I haven't heard yet. I applied to MSN-PNP.
  4. Hannah, thank you so much for that info!! It answers a ton of my questions. I understand the disappointment about wanting to be full time and get though faster, but as a working single mom, only having two classes per semester sounds very do-able and relieves a lot of my concern about the workload.
  5. Nothing yet... I talked to Nora today and she indicated they would be making decisions over the next week or two....
  6. The GRE requirement fell off my SISS page and it says application complete!! Woohoo! Hopefully we'll start hearing about interviews soon......
  7. My application still says incomplete and that I need to submit GRE scores. I was hoping that requirement was going to fall off. I need to email them and see what they say. I think I read the program (MSN) takes three years to complete now that they moved it to part time only? It's hard to find information about that. I haven't applied to any other programs at this point. My bachelor's degree is in a field other than nursing, and only three other programs will accept a BA instead of a BSN. I'm really hoping to not have to go back and do a lot of extra coursework.
  8. I didn't report GRE scores either, I shouldn't have to based on GPA but I'll feel better about that when I see it on the portal :). Nora (admissions counselor) told me they would make interview decisions starting in late June. It's a long time to wait! Did you apply anywhere else?
  9. Great! I wonder if the MSN and BSN-DNP programs share coursework for the first part. Do you have to take the GRE? I'm still hoping to see the update on the portal saying requirement completed!
  10. I recently had to do the same thing. I think it's more common in academia than it would seem. She was happy to help, requested my resume (I sent her my application essays too), and she reviewed my nursing school transcripts and based her letter off that information. I can't speak to how great the letter was because I'm still in the application process, but she was more than willing to write the letter for me. Good luck!
  11. Anyone else applying to Duke MSN program for Spring 2019? Application deadline is Monday and it's all I can think about! I'm applying to the PNP program. Would love to connect with some other potential cohort members!
