Duke ABSN Fall 2011

Hi all!

I know its early and the application isn't due until December 1st, but I was wondering if there was anyone else out there applying to the Duke ABSN program to start in August of 2011! I've already read through some of the previous semesters' threads and it seems like a great outlet for discussion/ questions/ nerves!

Let me know :)

In the past few years they have always notified before Christmas (they have to start planning Duke Days and figuring out who will show when) and it has been by email. I think if they finish reviewing today there is a good chance we will get an email today.

I think someone should call and do a little prying. Anyone have an excuse?

BTW - are we all ladies on the thread or do we have some gentlemen among us? I'd love to know a little more about everyone (besides that we all have control issues - haha).

I re-listened to my email from our favorite person... all notifications will be done through email! :) Nothing yet though...

Thanks for the info about the review process. I see that Durham Schools have a 2 hour delay tomorrow. Depending on the weather, school may be canceled for the day. I hope that will not effect Duke and that we'll hear something tomorrow anyway.

Found this great 139 page pdf online tonight. Its the 2010 -2011 DUSON Bulletin and is full of useful info and links. Nice to have so much info in one place. Hope you think so too.

Hi all,

Schools are closed out here today, but that doesn't include Universities. All the Duke clinics are up and running on a normal schedule or a two hour delay at the most. So hopefully notifications won't be delayed by the weather.

The waiting is getting harder with each passing day.

I completely agree hlr9433. I finished my exams, work has become quieter and now I am much more focused on whether or not I have email.

I scheduled mine for the 21st. I was going to try to drive there from NJ, so I figured maybe the earlier the better with the weather.
