Duke ABSN Fall 2011

Hi all!

I know its early and the application isn't due until December 1st, but I was wondering if there was anyone else out there applying to the Duke ABSN program to start in August of 2011! I've already read through some of the previous semesters' threads and it seems like a great outlet for discussion/ questions/ nerves!

Yep it's the big 27! My fiance turned 30 this year so 27 doesn't seem so bad haha. Thanks for the early bday wishes! I have no doubt that you'll be able to move onto 27 with an acceptance letter in hand!

Ridiculously excited about this weeks imminent emails... I've been stalking my inbox since midnight. My semester grades come out this week too, so I've been stalking those too, lol. I'm thinking about hiding my computer from myself for like a few days so that I can get off of it.

Anyone else? :grn:

me tooooo. I had a final today, and then realized right after it was the 13th. and now that's all I've been able to think of since. DANG IT!

im minutes away from taking my anatomy 2 final and am so excited to finish this class and so excited/ nervous to find out about interviews. im betting we find out by wednesday!! i cant stop checking my email

Heard the committees begin reviewing applications today, not sure how that all works but it would be lovely to hear before Thursday so I can take my A&P 1 final without that monkey on my shoulder!:rolleyes:

Been checking my online app daily and keeping an ear out for my email *ding*. Nothing yet, but will post as soon as I hear anything and hope others do too!

VandyMed - I'm thinking that you are going to get a birthday present on Wednesday and not just from friends and family. Wednesday just feels like the day they will email and let us know we have interviews. And that would be a fabulous way to go into my Micro final. How's that for a way to celebrate your birthday?

I've been checking my email way too much. Glad to see that others are out there doing the same. Just finished with my last paper for the term and took two finals today-- looking forward to an easier day tomorrow, and some sleep tonight.

oaktown2 - That would be a fabulous way to celebrate my birthday! At least today I have a test and a final to distract me from constantly checking my email haha! At least it should be distracting me...

FYI to all the applicants.... I was told by someone on the admissions committee that they will be done reviewing all the applications tomorrow.

So I would guess we should be receiving calls Thurs or Friday in regards to interviews.

I'm not sure how they are gonna notify us. Or even when they will notify us. I'm hoping that it will be sometime this week (Thurs or Friday) because otherwise we would have to wait until after Christmas/New Years to find out.

I would assume they will probably send emails or make phone calls to setup the interviews.
