@Amanda531 - have you heard any recent info on the tuition reimbursement? I had heard awhile back that the class that finished in June 2010 had very few people hired. Do you know if that has improved?

Yes, it has! I do not remember the exact numbers, but they did tell us during the interview. I think almost all of them had jobs after a month or so. The students started looking earlier for jobs this year also. Maybe someone else on here who attended Duke Days wrote down the exact information, but probably if you call they would be able to tell you. It definitely did get much better, and they also mentioned about the new building which was going to be opening around the time of this cohort's graduation.

I just stalked out last years thread and people found out on April 8th so I guess we'll find out around April 5th for sure. I'm going to try to not think about it....at least as much as I can.....

This afternoon's little email was a nice update for those who've been waiting since mid-Feb. Makes me feel much better that they're reminding us second rounders that we have NOT been forgotten. This month is speeding by, my friends. :)

When I saw the email, I was about to crap myself lol. That was great that they sent us a reminder to let us know that we were not forgotten. Maybe it is a sign that we might find out earlier than April 5th:lol2:

I too almost crapped myself!!

I'm glad they haven't forgotten and I hope that those first rounders that got accepted elsewhere decide to go there instead!!

My heart was jumping out of my body when I saw the title of the email....now just more waiting.......:anbd:

I got some good news this week from UNC- I got accepted to their program!

I'm so happy that I'll be going to school for sure but I would still like to hear from Duke.

Why on earth does Duke give people a month and a half to accept their admissions offers??? It's such a long time for the rest of us to wait!!

UNC gives two weeks

UCLA gives two weeks

Duke gives 1.5 months????

Has anyone heard anything?

Congratulations, Ocennia! I haven't heard a thing from Duke either - I kind of thought they might end up telling us before 4/5, but it's really starting to look like we might have to wait it out. A month and a half IS a LONG time to wait!!!
