Has anyone applied to the University ACE Program for the Fall 2011 start? I recently applied and have sent my transcript. Please feel free to post anything about the program and/or the Fall 2011 start.

for ace, anatomy, physiology, and microbiology must be taken within five years prior to enrollment in ace program.

Got my acceptance!! Congrats to everyone who got accepted! I'm still not sure if I'll be attending since stonybrook is my top choice (and much cheaper) but we'll see.

I'll post my stats for those of you still waiting -

Binghamton University - B.S. Neuroscience, GPA 3.3, Pre-req GPA: 3.3

Grats Cas! What is the tuition cost difference between and Stony Brook? I couldn't find it on their site :o

umm idk the exact cost for the stonybrook program but I do know that the regular stonybrook tuition is about $7000 for ny residents and 14000 for non ny residents. I'm sure its not much different for the nursing program except you'd have to pay for an addition summer semester. And then 's program tuition is $38,000.

I also live on LI so I wouldn't have to pay for room and board.

Did anyone who got accepted so far hear back about there pre-req evaluation?

I received my prerequisite evaluation form about a week and a half after I got my acceptance letter.

Is there a specific question you had about it?

Just received my transfer credit evaluation form and I was a bit surprised-

First of all, they did accept my social psychology for sociology :)

They did not take my ethics of movement course for the ethics requirement (I wasn't sure if they would)

and they didn't accept my anatomy course! It was a human anatomy course through the Kinesiology department. I wonder if they want it through a biology department? If so, all it said on the website was that it had to be a human anatomy course

Should I send them an email asking about it?

Yes, email them and ask them. Can you get ahold of a syllabus for the anatomy class?

It mentions in your acceptance letter: "Information regarding your official transfer credit evaluation will be forthcoming under separate cover directly from the academic department within two weeks." AKA, you will get a separate letter that will have your prerequisite evaluation form. I received mine about a week or so after my initial letter.
