Drexel University ACE Program Fall 2011 Start

Hello,

Has anyone applied to the Drexel University ACE Program for the Fall 2011 start? I recently applied and have sent my transcript. Please feel free to post anything about the program and/or the Fall 2011 start.

for those who asked about stats:

I have a BS in Kinesiology from Penn State University (University Park) with a 3.3 overall GPA. My prereq GPA was also around a 3.2-3.3.

Congrats! Still waiting here! Hopefully I find out soon!

As for stats: BSN in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State Univ. Cumulative GPA: 3.54 Prereq GPA: 3.7

No. There is a form letter that comes with the acceptance letter that says that a Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE) form will be forwarded to you by the nursing department within two weeks. The form will tell you what courses have been accepted and which pre-reqs still need to be completed.

The acceptance letter and the terms of provisional acceptance letter are the only things that come with the packet that have anything to do with the ACE program. The rest is just general Drexel brochure things.

Some more info for you guys:

According to the acceptance packet we have 60 days from the time we receive it to send in our $500 deposit to hold our spot.

I'm starting to think I might pass on Drexel in favor of La Salle due to costs. We didn't receive a full cost breakdown, but I'm guessing tuition alone will be $40k.

If I remember correctly, they said in the info session this year that tuition for the fall 2011 ACE program would be 38.5k and that does not cover books, fees, etc.

My last name starts with M, but I have a feeling they're not doing applications alphabetically.

Ardneth, that's still so expensive for an 11 month program. I really wish they offered scholarships since without that'd be intense. Are you taking out loans to pay for the program?
