Drexel University ACE Program Fall 2011 Start

Hello,

Has anyone applied to the Drexel University ACE Program for the Fall 2011 start? I recently applied and have sent my transcript. Please feel free to post anything about the program and/or the Fall 2011 start.

Has anyone applied a little after the October 15th date gotten an acceptance yet? Just wondering because I sent in my transcripts the first week of November and I still haven't heard anything.

I applied on September 15th and haven't heard anything. Is there anyone else that applied before the priority deadline and still hasn't gotten a decision? Getting worried :(

Also does anyone know a good person or phone number to call in their admissions department, that can answer questions???

I would strongly advise you all to check with the nursing department and GET IN WRITING anything you're told regarding pre-reqs. I speak from experience. The admissions department is not always in agreement with the nursing department. Good luck!

Btw, I won't attend Drexel after all, so there's an extra spot available for Spring 2011.

I applied after the deadline and received my acceptance last week. However, I was accepted to WCU and will be attending there so there is another open seat. GL!

Received my transcript evaluation sheet yesterday in the mail. Credit for everything but ethics which I took this semester. Just have to wait till grades post, and then submit. Does anyone know when we should fill out the fafsa for next year if we're planning to attend?

You can't submit the FAFSAbefore Jan 1st. I think the latest you can submit it is sometime in May.

To Success 3: I also applied after the deadline. Well, I got my application in by the oct. 15 deadline, but didn't get all of my transcripts in until the 10th of Nov. I haven't heard anything yet either. I contacted admissions and they said to allow at least 6 weeks for a response, or longer. I'm thinking that since I had some bad stuff early on in my education, that may be affecting their decision, and why it's taking awhile, because it seems some people got a quick response. Ugh, I wish I hadn't been young and stupid and messed up. But my last 60 credits I had much better grades. I also am taking prereqs this semester, so they may be waiting on those grades before they make a decision. Good luck to you.

Does anyone know when the application begins for spring 2012?? I'm interested in applying for spring 2012 and their online application form only indicated up to fall 2011.

I have decided I also won't be attending Drexel. The cost of the program is just too much for me, so another spot will be open for fall 2011!
