Hey! I noticed that someone requested information on this program. I start Drexel's accfelerated BSN program in March and was just wondering how it is - if anyone has graduated from the program and has any info, opinions, suggestions... I'd love to hear about it! Feel free to write me a PM also! Thanks!
Hello,I applied to the Drexel ACE program in May for the class starting in march. It's august and I have not heard or received a decision yet. Does anyone know how long it takes for the admission committee to review and notify candidates whether they've been accepted or not? For those that are in the program, was it this long to hear from the admission's office? Any insight will be greatly appreciated. All I've heard so far is that we should be getting a decision soon and this was approximately a month and half ago.
Thanks.
I applied in April for fall 04 and in May they sent me a letter saying they were swamped with applications and that fall 04 was full. I was asked if I wanted to start March 05 or Fall 05. I selected March 05 and I just got my letter about 3 weeks ago saying I was accepted. I would call the school to see where they are in processing the March 05 class. I have since decided to accept an offer for a school here where I live so I won't be going to Drexel next year.
Just wanted to introduce myself... my name is Matt and start Drexel's ACE program this fall (2004)....
was at orientation today and all... and getting excited, even though things still seem a little choatic! Looking forward to the challenge and meeting all my new peers!

Hello to all Fall 04 ACE Students!
They are totally unorganized...Did you hear the uproar that started when that girl from the billing department spoke? hahaha...I must admit I was pretty freaked out when I recieved a bill yesterday stating I owed $15,000! I kept thinking, "What happened to my financial aid?" They cleared up a lot of questions though...I'm definitely psyched for this to begin...
I graduated Oct 2003 and I am doing Orientation today and the last I heard was 190 was confirmed! Rumor has it Drexel (not the college of nursing) took over admissions....
Holly it was great hearing from you during Orientation! We have 186 students! I can not believe how unorganized this program is at this point. I spent 4 days on campus before orientation. As a matter of fact, I brought it to Financial Aide and Student Accounts that the loan amounts were not memo'ed on the bills. They did not know. One thing I was totally upset with is that Drexel wants all of their money UPFRONT! No more quarterly billing/payments! This is stressful within itself. I came to Phill expecting to pay $300 for my first quarter, the difference I thought I owe, but to my surprise, this is not the case!
I do not have any option but to be successful in this program. So, as Holly mentioned in her orientation spill, "Follow the rules!"
I wish all of the Fall 2004 the best!
What section are you in. I am in Section three:)

Hello to all Fall 04 ACE Students!
Hi Nursing04
Congrats to you! So good to hear from someone who has been there done that AND got the t-shirt. Good luck on your boards. 2 weeks have passed and I'm hanging on with both hands and a couple of toes. Busy but not completely buried...yet. I have met some great people and I think these friendships will figure into my success. Blue Skies!

I meant to add that I applied for the RN-BSN Online Program. I noticed everyone saying that attendance was mandatory. That is for the classroom based class, right? Is there anyone taking the online program. I live in the state of Maryland. I don't see how I could commute everyday from here. HA! HA! HA!
Good Luck To All!
