Anyone's school doing anything fun this week for Dr. Seuss's birthday? We have a whole week of dress up days (Wednesday is pj day, woot!) and then a program on Thursday where a class acts out one of his books. Should help the spring fever that has set in!

We have something designated for each day; of course I'm a scrooge and don't participate. We do have a pajama day with staff participation. It takes a while for those images to fade from my memory :nailbiting:

We're not doing anything, which is surprising because it seems like my daughter brings home a note about a dress up day every other day! Our 5th grade drama club is performing the Seussical on Thursday, but the timing is coincidental.

We're doing Dr. Seuss week too. Tomorrow is Dress in what you want to be when you grow up (Oh the Places you'll go), Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday- dress as wacky as you want, Thursday is Fox in Sox day (crazy socks and hats), and Friday is dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character/book.

We have a Dr. Seuss night with crafts and food and fun activities! I have a teeny tiny one at home though so I couldn't volunteer this year :(

Today was crazy sock day. I had to borrow hubs'-that's his thing. Tomorrow is Dr. Suess character day so I won't participate. But I WILL be doing PJ day. Yep...I'm one of those.

Our Second grade is having a dress up day each day this week, ending with dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character of Friday. I bought a cute Dr. Seuss scrub top to wear that day.

We have special guests coming in to read to the classes and I think one day is dress as you favorite Dr Seuss character day. I have Dr Seuss scrub tops that I'll wear the rest of the week and may go read to one of the classes if time allows.

I'm with OD on the PJ day...adults going to work in PJs, nobody wants to see that!

I thought you all would appreciate this. This fella is a principal in my state. His county has had to close schools last week and this week due to illness.
