Doubtful about NCLEX Exam

Published

I took the nclex 8/28/06. I had about 80-85 questions. I have a lot of doubt because it seems as though I was getting lower level questions. I had about 10-15 priority questions, a few infection control, and about 10 medication questions. I heard that medication questions were lower level. The medication questions were asking about side effects of different meds. I just don't know man. I got a gut feeling that I didn't come out to well. It seems as though some my questions were signs/symptoms of different disorders such as thyroid disorder, pagets disease, etc. I'm just filled with doubt right now. I really can't afford to fail this thing again.

Hello, I feel the same exact way that you do. I took my boards today, and I got 250 questions. I cried the whole way home after getting lost, going down a one way street and getting pulled over. THAT sure didn't help the anxiety that I was already feeling. I hope that you did well, and I'll be praying for ya!

Aw, when I read both your posts I had to respond. Hang in there you two, things happen for some reason or another, we dont know why. I bet ye both have passed :)

"I have plans for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you.....plans to give you hope and a future." A very dear person gave this to me and I want to pass it on to ye. Hang in there, ok :)

felt the same way. I thought for sure i had failed although i heard from an instructor that priority questions are higher level questions.

I too, limped away from the test center today feeling as if I might have slept through nursing school...but keep your chin up! You made it through your program, when so many others may not have. You have to know the basics to pass! Good luck on your results..I know I can't wait to see them either!:icon_hug:

I remember, these are the words of a song I used to listen every time and I love it, all the best.

I had a similiar test to you, and passed good luck

Joe,

You're thinking about this way too hard. Nothing in your message can tell us for sure whether you passed or failed, but keep in mind that you have an 85% chance of passing. Hang in there! Let us know what happens.
