Don't you hate the arrogant students?

Nursing Students General Students

Today was the nurse orientation. Some of the students in the orientation came off as very arrogant to me. The funny thing about it, is that I did not see them as special or better. To tell you the truth, I do not even find them attractive. They were looking at me like I was inferior or something. WTF? The women there were not even attractive and judging from how they acted, I would not even date them. The cool students and the good looking students did not come off that way as they did. I hate those arrogant students. They should get a reality check.:angryfire

I am wondering where "HOPEFULLY" has run off to. I have taken the liberty of reading his other posts and I am convinced that English is his 2 (maybe more like 4th) language. When he mentioned "cool people" maybe he meant "nice". I will never forget the time a German exchange student asked me if I was "sporty"...found out he meant "athletic". :)

I kind of got that vibe, too. I think he is young and of foreign persuasion. Maybe we do need to ease up a bit and see if this is so?

I'd love to agree, but there was the line about women he wouldn't want to date ... as if that should have some bearing on their worthiness. :chuckle

Leaving this one alone now, although I am worthy... :rotfl:

Ditto on the reality check. If had an ego during orientation. Hell, we made it, others didn't. We're the ones who got in...I felt dang proud of that! There were groups that intimidated me. These folks had classes together since they started at school, very close groups. But you become part of the group, and you're one huge dysfunctional family. Deal with it. -Andrea

Hard telling. Like Tweetie says, it is easy to misinterpret if there is a language barrier. I could be wrong, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, as it all just seemed to be too bizarre to be at first glance. Maybe he'll come back and explain himself.
