Hey y'all,
Starting a thread for students applying to DUofCA's BSN program for Fall 2021 to share questions and concerns. Application deadline is Feb 1st for Freshmen and March 1st for Transfers. Good luck to everyone!
I haven't got any notification either. All the checklist is still there and the last time I spoke to one of the admission team was on April 30. They said they would release the official announcement this week. But it's so weird that some people got a notification that they were denied from the nursing but got accepted to the other major and many of us haven't even got an answer.
I wonder why..
When my friend applied for Spring 2020, he was waitlisted and nothing on his portal ever changed. He received a letter in the mail but a few weeks later than everyone received their admission.
sorry for everyone else waiting.....receiving the denial to the program/admission to the program sucked...cried the first night but gave me relief that I’m not waiting for an answer. I picked myself up and started looking at other schools I’m applying to for next batch. I’m still waiting to hear back from USFCA....but IDK if they will have a spot for me ?
goodluck everyone else and I hope we have a better shot when first year/high school seniors aren’t applying.
@Benevolent You got into Usfca Spring 2022 right?
Exactly. I know that I was denied but it's better to know exactly by getting a proper official letter or something else. Do you guys know anyone who got the acceptance letter?

It’s all the same stuff. I don’t think you need to have the same letters recent by the same people. Shouldn’t they just carryover to the next application? Email Robert and ask but I’m pretty sure he’s going to say it’s going to carryover. If it doesn’t I guess you could send a request and have the people who wrote your leftovers of recommendation change the date. You only need one letter of recommendation. If we don’t have to have our transcripts sent in again then why would we have to have our letter of recommendation resent?

same. If you are denied I believe nothing changes. That's the way it seems. But if we are denied the program why wouldn't they offer us admission into the school itself. This is all so strange and nerve wracking. I am definitely discouraged about my possibility of being accepted.
