Hi everyone, Did anybody take the SLE-Q test before the prerequisite course begin? I am planning to apply to LVN and they are now required for people to take the SLE-Q test. I have never heard of this test and it is supposed to be get done in 8 minutes for 30 questions, and the cutline is 17 for LVN. Does anybody know about this test?

Thanks for sharing with us. Congrats! When did you get the result from them? And how did you get the result ? My penguin site has been same and I am thinking to reapply again. Is there any recommendation ? How do we make our application more appealing? ?

Once we reapply, do we need to submit a new recommendation letter as well?

Exactly. I know that I was denied but it's better to know exactly by getting a proper official letter or something else. Do you guys know anyone who got the acceptance letter? I I haven't got any notification either. All the checklist is still there and the last time I spoke to one of the admission team was on April 30. They said they would release the official announcement this week. But it's so weird that some people got a notification that they were denied from the nursing but got accepted to the other major and many of us haven't even got an answer. I wonder why..

I will have to search for it. I haven't really started it yet... I am currently taking Microbiology and It is 6 units and got so overwhelming. After I finish this up, I would start studying and I would let you know if I find a good one! Samuel takes both! I will have to study TEAS as well but then I would go with HESI first.

Aw.....I asked her if I have to send a new transcript when I reapply, and she said at the end, you are a strong candidate and I would encourage you to reapply for a future term. . . I guess. . . she is telling me the indirect way that I didn't get in........ AW! I need to prepare the HESI for Samuel soon....

I emailed Maria and she said they are still in the process of getting all of their decisions out and they will have an official decision this coming week. She also said" unfortunately we received most of your transcripts well after the March 1 deadline. We have a few hundred qualified applications completed on time so they were given priority. / // / So, I submitted my transcript later than the March 1 deadline, so I can't even get considered...? ?

Oh, I am so sorry. Mine hasn't changed anything yet..... aw...... It's so stressful.... I started contacting Gurnick Academy for the LVN program.... Should I email Robert to ask when they are going to release?

I really think that's a good sign. I wish I had that sign...... I saw the last semester forum and they started getting results at the end of October. The deadline was Sep 1st.

I live in north bay (Petaluma). I gotta look into that. You have a high GPA. My prerequisite GPA is okay but my cumulative GPA is not very competitive. I attended a few colleges and first college that I attended when I was young, I honestly didn't know what I was doing. I am just hoping I can get in somehow.... But It looks like it's really competitive almost everywhere. ?

Thank you, guys... That'd be great actually! Thank you. My volunteer hours are only 50 hours. I started doing it this year. I was doing it at Red Cross Blood Donor site. I don't have any medical field experiences either.. It just made me feel so left out. Have you taken TEAS or HESI?
