I'm considering applying at Dominican College for their Accelerated BSN program.
Has anyone had any experience with them? Pros/Cons on the program?
Not sure if it matters but I am a NJ resident and planned on commuting.
Thank you much!

Dominican is a great school but as with all the nursing schools it's tough. You must have a 76% average to pass. I heard the class that started in the summer had 16 students and 8 are not coming back some fell short of the 76% average some had 75% and 74% now they are gone. It seems to be like this in all the nursing schools.
So just study, study, study. Good luck!

Yep all nursing schools are 75 percent to stay in because they are highly competitive and they have waiting lists out the wazoo..they dont wanna waste their time with ppl who dont wanna study..im in BOCES LPN program....but I plan on going for my RN right after

Hi future nurses!!I am also interestered in this ASBSN program. Is it too late to apply for may 2011?Can any students who got accepted previous year post their stats like gpa and major?Does your major count? For instance, how would they compare a bio degree vs. a literature degree. Thanks so much in advance for the help!! =)
