Does your state or DOT have a automobile license plate specifically for "NURSES"? Like those supplied for wildlife, teachers and etc.
:cry:I live in the state of Ga. and I have not seen such neither am I aware of one being offered either for us. If anyone has any info. please let me know.
I have been pulled over for speeding 3 times.. all three times while wearing either an aide or nursing uniform and a stethoscope on my neck and I have never once gotten a ticket. So yes, I think being in the medical profession can certainly get you out of a ticket.
..course I'm also a chesty blonde..
DO NOT advertise that you are a NURSE....there are too many predators out there. I also never let my daughter have anything personalized that she wears on her body....just think about it.any predator can come up to you and say......"Oh I see you are a nurse someone is hurt behind that building over there..can you help: or to your child....Hi Mary your mommy told me to pick you up from school and take you home"

My state offers one, but it isn't just for nurses -- it is to raise awareness of nursing and the history of nursing in the state (we were the first state in the US to register and license nurses), and to raise money for the state nursing center (there's an additional fee to get one, beyond the charge for regular license plates). Anyone can get one -- you don't have to show your license or anything.
I haven't chosen to get one.
