  2. Student: I'm soon to begin Pharmacology in Jan '10 and I've been looking online to find material trying to study ahead with no success. Also, I've been looking for a NUMBER LINE for drug conversion with no avail. Can you please help me out?
  3. I heard the very same statement back in the late 90's when I first began nursing and I'm still working as a LPN.
  4. Does your state or DOT have a automobile license plate specifically for "NURSES"? Like those supplied for wildlife, teachers and etc. :cry:I live in the state of Ga. and I have not seen such neither am I aware of one being offered either for us. If anyone has any info. please let me know.
  5. I don't broadcast my profession. I reply only if asked. I make sure to let people know I'm a psych nurse and they need to speak with their physician.
  6. Great information. I'm psych NO! floor nursing skills.
  7. HALALEUJHA. Oh, how do I agree with your fustration. :banghead:Check this out, if you have taken or attempted more than 50 credit hours, :nono:you can not be a first year Nursing major student you will have to change your major to receive financial aid. Also, :uhoh21:I live in a city that has 3 schools (University, Military College, and Tech. College) only one is offering the "speech" class I need as a pre-requiste. :scrying:Can't be a transit student my first year either. I will have to commute 45miles twice a week to take the 1 speech class that I need. :bugeyes:Oh! have an online class to take also and have to pick up 1 more 1 hour class to meet my 6 hours requirment.

I understand, will be attending ABAC this month to complete my core classes to enter the Nursing program there in May. ABAC was previously offering to 2 RN bridge classes, this year only one. So the students who were registered to begin in Jan '09 will be combined with those registered for May '09 and selected from. Hope I'm one of them.
  9. I agree FroggysMom I'm in the same position. I tried narrowing down options on the Johnson and Johnson site which left yet a large selection to look through. The hospital I work for offers a scholarship - only available once you're in the actual nursing program. Soliciting HELP, I live in Ga.
  10. I totally agree to God being first.
  11. :coollook:Wow, I thought not putting charts back in the rack and if it has an order on top of the rack; only happened in our small hospital. I agree withe lpnflorida, Dr's should have to put their orders in the computer so we don't have to decipher them. You know it's really bad when the pharmacy can't read their hand writting either.
  12. :heartbeatSorryto hear of your incident. My sympathy and prayers. Remember, God still works MIRACLES.
