What does it say on the OR BoN website regarding licensing by examination for an internationally educated nurse? Many states it does not matter if your classes were taught in English if English is not a primary language of the country of education

I called them to confirm this, they said they'd base it on my CES report til then they will decide if I still need it..but ive read some thread and post just recently and they all took toefl just to get ATT, now im worried and confused..
Then you need to wait until OR BoN makes a decision based upon receipt of your CES report. They will advise if you need to demonstrate English proficiency
Okay..thanks for the time and reply

I didn't take TOEFL for Oregon. I used CES from CGFNS. I got my license last December 2013.
Hi! Did u pass the language verification page? Just the CES plus documents? no other english proficiency requirements? :) And how long did it take for them to give ur eligibility? :)

As previously mentioned, it all depends on how the evaluations are reviewed. There are some posters who were required to do the TOEFL and needed the minimum 84-85 score and then there are those that didn't need to do this at all.
Hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.
Hello,
Yes, I did submit the language verification page to my school which they then in turn submitted to CGFNS along with my official transcripts. A week after CGFNS received my documents, It was forwarded to Oregon Board of Nursing. After that, it only took a few days before I was eligible by Oregon. The longest wait is when CGFNS is waiting for your documents. I also had my Philippine license verified which took longer on my part since I had to ask for help from friends to personally deliver documents to PRC. CGFNS moves rather quickly with the evaluation.
So in short, I did not submit any other English proficiency requirements to Oregon other than the CGFNS CES package.

If you have been told you can sign up for pearsonvue then that is your eligibility and pearsonvue will send ATT once you register and BON confirms
