Hi there! I recently graduated in July in the Philippines and I am currently in the process of applying for the NCLEX. The Board of Nursing has requested an International Diploma Verification form from me, but I'm a bit confused because the form instructs me to send it to the licensing or regulatory agency where I was registered as a professional nurse. However, I am not yet a registered nurse in the Philippines. I would really appreciate hearing from someone who has gone through the same process, as I am feeling quite lost at the moment. Thank you!

Hi there! I am going through this process right now and I am the same as you. The International Diploma Verification Form is a long and tedious requirement that the board of nursing wants...
1.Basically you fill up the first part of the form and send it to your registrar where you graduated.
2. The school will get the transcripts and the diploma and then you have to go to CHED to get the CAV (certification, authentication, verification).
3. Ched will give you a stub when you can pick up those documents, then you have to go to the department of foreign affairs and they are appointment only atm.
4. the department of foreign affairs will apostille the documents so that they are valid for use in California. The crucial part is having the DFA send those documents to the board. If you, the school or anyone else sends it the board will not accept. The DFA has to send all those documents.
