Like, you may only have been in for 2 months but it feels like 2 years. Things that happened like 3 weeks ago, seems like it was a year ago? I am almost finished with my first year, my first day was approximately 8 months ago, take out winter break, thanksgiving break and spring break, it's been close to just over 6 months of actual school. Yet it seems like the first day was eons ago.
Besides having my kids, nothing else has seemed to have gone by like this for me. But with my kids it's been the opposite, meaning how fast they grow up. It seems like I was just so over the moon to find out I was having a little girl after 3 boys and she just turned 3.
Anyway, just wondering if it felt this way for anyone else or if it is just me.
yea i feel the same, im in nursing two right now. the 2nd exam and nursing one seems like it happened last year and so on. and pre reqs were like ages ago...
but when i look at it from an actual point of view. it is SO FAST. i kinda like it hehe because im busy always... but i dont enjoy the stress... 1 more year to go, and i graduate next year and be an RN. YAY!
ps. i got my first gray hair this year... im only 19... =(
OP, so you are saying that time seems to be moving by very slowly for you? Do you feel like you should be farther ahead timewise for what you have done? When we are NOT enjoying something it seems to drag on, and we are enjoying it , time seems to fly by.
I agree about the spring semester, it seems longer somehow. I cant wait until May! I am 39 and it seems like I have aged a lot in the last 3 years taking pre-reqs and having a family is stressful, dont know how I will make it in NS.
Its more like dog years in reverse... for every 2-3 years of Nursing school related stuff its only worth 1 year of actual completion.
How many other programs can take up to 4 years to get a freaking ADN just because of all the pre reqs and waiting around. I started in Oct 2007 taking classes and all I have right now is an LPN and my last two co-reqs in progress with a thought that I might just skip the ADN and go right for the BSN at this rate. 12 months 18 months... whats the difference? lol

No, I am saying that, 4 weeks into the program, something we did on maybe day 2 seems to have been forever ago. Has nothing to do with it dragging at all. I do enjoy school 96% of the time. So much is packed into your brain in such a short amount of time though that it seems like it's been so long ago since you learned something when it could have just been a week ago.

I feel the same! Started last fall also. First semester flew by but this one is really dragging. Although reflecting on it now with only 5 weeks left I guess it's not that bad. Can't believe at this time next year I'll almost be done! At least I hope lol.
