It's been a while since I worked a facility that didn't use military time. It is not used here. I was just wondering how many of you out there are working some place that doesn't use the 24 clock?

Makes things more sccurate to use military time..sloppy "A" or"P" can easlity be mistaken for each other.

I worked at a facility in MI ...I was using military time in my charting, and the PM supervisor told me in no uncertain terms I was not to do so. Of course, I asked "why" and was told "Because"

pfffft

We use military time at my facility. I'm so used to it, I couldn't imagine not using it now.

We use it. In fact, I have a very hard time NOT using it, whenever I'm somewhere else and trying to write "6:30 pm". It doesn't seem right; I want to say 1830. =)

My head is always 24 hr clock. My hospital uses the same.

I have never seen military time in ANY of our documentation. It's a psych hospital.

Yes we do use military time. In fact I use it even when I'm not working, force of habit I guess.

We have done for years in the UK :lol2:
