Muscle aches, extreme tiredness, throbbing feet, no social life, just exhausted or is it just me? Had a blood work up done in June, everything is normal, but good grief! I became an LPN since June, 2006, and working in a clinic. It is easier than the floors, but I am still beat to the bone.

Yes. Exhausted all the time. Awhile back had some conditions that made me drop, however, don't quite know why so beat now. Have always had very tired disposition. Always getting diagnosed as anemic. Think it is more than that. Don't think it is depression fatigue. Just go from day to day.

One of the things that helps me is taking Ginseng tablets & wearing the support hose *knee high. The combo is better than nothing, and I can really feel a difference in my legs after working 12-14hr nights. Hope you find something that works for you. Also sounds like a viral issue.

I find myself emotionally exhausted more than anything.

I'm hoping some good vitamins might help. I also feel exhausted and have a lot of pain.
Thanks for this thread. I thought it was just me.
Do the Ginseng tablets make you nervous or edgy? I was thinking about that, and many of the nurses drink Red Bull, an energy drink. I get afraid to take some of these things because years ago, when I took diet pills, I would get severe heart palpitations that used to wake me up in the middle of the night.
Yeah...that is a thing with me as well. I feel a heaviness in my soul as well as my body when I get ready to leave for work. When I get there, it gets better, but, it seems as though I live to work instead of work to live.
Yeah, you are not alone. It is a horrible feeling, though, because I don't want to think that I am working to the bone and gaining nothing in quality of life. The bills are going down, and that is a good thing. But, these patients (as much as I care for them) are draining the life out of me, as well as the negative co-workers and un-empathetic administration. I hate sitting at their meetings, literally sick to my stomach when I see them.
On a lighter note, though, I hired a cleaning crew that will be coming to my house on Tuesday to do a thorough cleaning, throwing out and organizing. I think that will make me feel better, seeing a clean, organized home. I'm calling in sick that day and when they leave, I will thoroughly enjoy my home, at least. I don't even care about the money, I just want to stop having that overwhelming feeling each time I come home.

definitely not just you - i always figured once i finished nursing school, i would have a lot more time for friends, and maybe be able to keep my house spotless, but i am just so exhausted by the time it's my day off, that all i want to do is lay around.
this weekend, though, i rediscovered yoga, and it sure felt good afterwards
