That is a very broad topic to give advice for and kind of racist, in my opinion, how you phrased it, I believe Catholicism/ Christianity are common religions practiced in Mexico, but i hazard a google search would be more informative.

It will probably be easier to figure out where to start if your topic wasn't so broad. Even within Christianity, there is HUGE variability between denominations, e.g. Catholic vs Baptist vs Pentacostal. Throw in there LDS, Watchtower, traditional tribal religions, Judaism, Islam, even Tibetan Buddhist -- a quick Wikipedia read reports all of those numbering in the tens-to-hundreds of thousands of Mexican adherents. And don't forget the 5% of the country which claims NO religion.

Mexico is a large country, and while Catholicism is the majority religion the country itself is secular.

It might work as a geography paper, but as applied to nursing? Again I feel like it's extremely broad. And my observation is that when trying to tackle a broad topic relating to cultural awareness, nursing tends to get over-simplistic.

I agree with the other posters. I suggest you pick a topic that is not so broad. Are you focusing on religions in different cultures or just different cultures in general?
