I have a discipline on my RN license and application and it has been deterring me from getting a job. Even as a flu clinic nurse. What can I do to get rid of this discipline. I didn't even get my license until 2011 and on both Nursys and NPDB it states 2006. I've called both places and of course neither of are any help. I dont want to further my education because I feel why bother.... can someone guide me please!!!!! TIA

Without knowing what the discipline is- it is difficult to say. Have you complied with all BON demands (continuing ed/ fines/ etc)? Perhaps that is the barrier?
My record has been expunged. Everything I could of done was done. The NPDB told me it's staying and to just comment on it. And federal overrides state. I think I need to go to BON and speak to someone directly.
What is NPDB? Just curious

What was the reason for the discipline?

It seems strange that you have a discipline on your license and you haven't even practiced as a nurse?
Not saying this applies to OP: But Medicare/ Medicaid fraud convictions might pre-date a license and maybe that's the disparity? IDK
