I had an interview with Montefiore last month with an NM for ED department. It went really well and they called me back 2 weeks later. The NM said that HR will be contacting me with an offer shortly. I met with HR and the recruiter told me she is offering me the job and that it was ok for me to put in my notice because orientation will start March 28. Long story short, I have given her all my references and all the paperwork they need from my current HR has been faxed to them. The HR recruiter from Monte has been sending me emails about things that I have already sent her, to which I responded to politely. She also has sent me an email that was not for me but to another person with the same first name, but different last name! When I met with her she seemed very confused about who she was meeting with, what was going on, and what papers I have already given her. I am so disgusted and disappointed because I expected a highly sought after hospital to be more organized and on top of everything. Now I will have to extend my resignation at a place (LTC) where everyone's license is in jeopardy every time we work there, because of Monte's irresponsibility. Does anyone have any experience with Montefiore's hiring process and incompetent recruiters?

That is HR for you.
Or at least, from my experience, HR isn't usually the most well-run department because they are oftentimes overworked and inundated with applications, phone calls and deadlines.
I wouldn't let this cloud your judgement of this place.

OP, a piece of friendly advice. If your still interested in this position it might not be wise to post about about it here. (Even if you aren't, nursing is a small world and recruiters and managers talk to each other). Calling a representative of your future employer irresponsible and incompetent isn't a great career move. Recruiters from Montefiore may well read this and figuring out who you are probably isn't that difficult considering the details you've provided. Also, is your username your real name and age?
I understand why you might feel disappointed with how this has been handled, just offering my 0.02.

OP, you need some education about posting online. This forum is public and the facility is most likely reading this. Dont be surprised if they withdraw offer
lmao I thought this was a place to vent about things nursing related? And why would I be that unwise to use my real name and age?
I highly doubt that. So many people have said what they wanted to say and have still gotten offers. Yo are being paranoid.

I'm not sure people post the where and who so openly and still get offers. I would follow the advice of the previous posters....but, if you choose not to, don't be surprised if you lose out, if not this time another time if you continue lambasting by name an organization that you have interviewed with.
Thank you for answering my question :)
And, what question is that....if you were directing your response to me.

Hospitals have software that monitor the internet for negative internet postings, they don't have to join this site. OP, don't be naive!
