I took my NCLEX RN this afternoon at 1. It took me about 50 minutes when the computer shut off. Never had I been so certain that I bombed an exam. Half my test was SATA. I answered q 75 and was hoping it didn't shut off and sure enough it did. I drove home and went to check and ended up with the good pop up. Our records indicate that blah blah blah. I just really didn't think I passed, however it's too soon to tell. I've read here that it's not 100% accurate but hopefully it was for me.
Good luck to everyone else taking the exam.
Thank you so much for some information. When I'm doing some of the Kaplan questions (some I don't even know) it's frustrating as these aren't really described in their book and then I'm finding I'm reading my Saunder's book (1,000 pages - 70 chapters) though really wondering if I need to go into that detail? HURST is good (though more narrower in content) and their q's are easier. I'm feeling overwhelmed with approaches/resources as it seems like NCLEX can be on anything; though folks say not to stress as "NCLEX knows your a brand new nurse and doesn't expect you to know everything"...
Feel free to shed any additional advice/focal areas/support. Congrats again; I'm sure you're relieved and the weight has been lifted off your shoulders. :)
Hey I just found out I passed too! 75Qs and almost an hour and half, I just wanted to chime in PVT worked for me and I also had a crazy # of SATA and a few put in order Qs. No math, no audio, no charts, no hot spots. Which for like the last 10 or so questions I was thinking where is my easy math question?? I thought everyone got one, guess not. Congrats!!! All the hard work in school paid off and now we have an RN behind our names

My computer shut off at 75 questions too. At least 50 were SATA! I was getting one after the next sata. I'd have a run of 5 in a row and then a single answer question or ordering question then back to back SATA again. I passed too!
