I have worked with EC grads who stated they had no problem whatsoever. Most employers care that you have a valid, active license. That is enough. One grad I knew even rejoiced in the fact that her hiring interviewer (for her first RN job) specifically welcomed her because she was an EC grad.
Here is a nice thread to review about EC grads: https://allnurses.com/excelsior-college-online/excelsior-grads-where-217472.html

I just interviewed for an LPN position with St. Mary's Health Systems in Grand Rapids. During the interview, while discussing educational goals, the hiring manager informed me that St. Mary's doesn't typically hire RNs with an Excelsior degree. Have any Excelsior grads encountered problems with getting hired? I'm currently located in Michigan but possibly relocating to North Carolina in the future. Is there a way to get clinical hours to supplement an Excelsior degree? I knew this would be a potential problem but hearing it first hand from a major hospital has me worried. I just enrolled at Excelsior, and trust me when I say I did a ton of research. .. but did I make a huge mistake?
