CCAC FALL 2019 Hopefuls!
While on the topic of books.... I wanted to share about the ATI bundle. Apparently I wasn't the only one that misunderstood about the cost of the ATI bundle. I thought they said it was 300 for 110/120 and 130/140 which would be split into two payments. The first bundle is $368.25 and the second (the 130 code) is roughly $352. I didn't want anyone else to be surprised.

My packet is MIA again... can someone remind me which room we're meeting in for Allegheny orientation tomorrow. I swear I'm usually more prepared than this. ?

Which campus are you at? I’m at Allegheny and my books were about 800 and the clinical backpack was 140 ?

@pickles23 they haven’t contacted me about needing to retest. From what other people have said, it’s 70 bucks to retest so hopefully neither of us have to. I’m the same as you, I wouldn’t care if they needed another I just don’t want to pay for it.

When I had my meeting to schedule classes they told me which clinical site I’d be at

Mine isn't supposed to be AGH, I'm supposed to be starting at Kane Regional in Ross Township... I guess I'll be sending an email that'll never get answered lol.

I'm going to Allegheny Day. Part of me is suspicious that this was an error since our first clinical is at a Kane nursing home, but with the lack of communication I don't think it'll hurt me to complete the modules early.

I hope everyone is continuing to progress through this frustration with CastleBranch. I randomly decided to log in to my academic email and found an email about "MyclinicalExperience" which is how we'll go about getting badge through the Allegheny Health Network. There are also a few required education videos to complete and a few consent forms to mark off. I didn't want anyone else to be caught off guard like I was. This stuff needs to be completed before clinicals start.

@britt896 Which of your tests was non-reactive? Surface antigen, surface antibody, or Core antibody? Non-reactive is a normal result meaning you don't have hep B, was it your surface antibody that was too low?

Keep calling and doing what you can, nobody likes to be a bother, but we're getting down to the wire here. My drug test came back a few minutes ago which was my last thing to complete. If this is anything like my old employer (government job) I'll be sent back for another one. I was "Dilute Negative" which either means you were well hydrated or tried to cheat the system. I need a rolling eye emoji here... too much coffee that morning will probably end up costing me a retest fee.

I would definitely be calling and annoying them to no end. Like, even your DRIVERS LICENSE is still pending, come on.

I hear ya, it was a real struggle to get my records... I'm not exactly "young" anymore so my records were on paper in a storage facility somewhere. CB did tell me after I was on hold for an hour that CCAC could manually accept a titer result, but at this point who knows if anything CB says is accurate.

I'm so sorry that happened to both of you! I'm glad I pushed my old pediatrician to search for my vaccination records, I never would have been able to afford the series at this point. I'm sure summer hours and minimal staff isn't helping matters, I'd just keep calling and doing what you can. If you can get in touch with someone maybe see if they'll accept it only one week before the window?

It seems like everyone is getting a range of answers from CB. Sorry the school is being non-responsive too that's gotta be super frustrating but we're soooo close.

I found my packet, it does say July 21-31st. I’m at Allegheny too though so I wonder what the discrepancy is ?
