Hey there everyone. Did you ever say something you wish you hadn't to the wrong person.

My cousin and I have been friends forever. Everything changed when I moved out of state. I hardly ever hear form her now and she does not come around when I visit home. (That is whole other story a visit home is exhausting trying to see everyone, so I decieded to stay at one person's house and let people come to me afterall I do drive about 800 miles to visit home)

Anyhow I recently had a problem with her parents at my brothers wedding. My problem is I told her about the problem after she emailed me to ask about it, and exactly how I felt about the situation. That was wrong.

I did apoligize but now I know things will never be the same.

That's exactly what I was going to say. She asked you, and you told her. If you told the truth, don't beat yourself up. I know your upset loosing a relationship, but if she couldn't handle the truth, she never should have asked.

Yes, I've said many a thing I've regreted. But the truth comes out the same every time.

Then you lie. If I ask you "is my butt getting big". You lie to me o.k.?

Yes, especailly as I was younger, the words simply flew out of my mouth, before I had the change to close it.

It is a bit better now I am older and wiser, LOL, but it still happens.

You know if they gave frequent flyer miles for everytime I say something I wish I hadnt..... I could fly first class everytime I got on a plane.... Its said... You gave it your peace.... You meant it.... it needed to be said. Dont beat your self up over it... life is way too short , for you to allow every little tidbit to eat your life away..

OMG. If I had made use of a golden opportunity NOT to say ANYTHING, I know my life would be different and better right now.

I've said yes when I should have said no, and I've said no when I should have said yes. I was so careful once to look... I don't know, however we look when we have feelings for someone that we're not sure has feelings for us.... that I rebuffed him.

But then, I've been very open and forthright in another instance, and that didn't work out either. So there you have it.

They say (or at least my cousin used to say) that you regret the things in your life that you don't do, more than you regret the things you do. I'm not sure if that's true with words, though.

I know that I don't like to spend time with people who state THE TRUTH and act like that's a big virtue. Along the lines of "does my butt look big?" sort of thing. But I guess that's just me.

Love
