Just wondering if anyone else applied to this program. I went to UCLA for undergrad but I pretty much think I have no shot of getting into this grad program.
Does anyone know anything about how many people they admit? What they are looking for?
OMG!!! I can't believe I didn't get anything! I was almost sure I would get something in the mail today. This is just getting outa control. I mean, I know San Diego is technically a desert, but it's not England or Zimbabwe. I should have gotten something! I'm getting ready to call Shelli and just ask! This is ridiculous, or am I just over reacting??

That really doesn't make any sense. That other people in south cali have received their letters-which apparently got sent out altogether in one bundle? :s
I understand you are frustrated, but at least you weren't greeted with a rejection!
Hopefully everyone will hear by the end of the week!
If I haven't heard by friday, then I'll be tempted to ring Shelli.
Music if you don't hear by tomorrow, then if I was you I'd ring Shelli, because like you say, san diego isn't THAT far from LA!
lol what would we do without you, kittykat, making us laugh and all! OK, tomorrow, I will not be laughing. Oh no. I will pick up the phone and demand an answer. I need to make a decision about what school I go to by next Monday at the latest (when USD wants a deposit and decision), so this is really frustrating. Sorry to vent. I'm really feeling your pain, Sarah. I feel like I live in England all of a sudden :)
Anyone else in southern california NOT get their letter yet?

LOL, I dont mean to discourage you, I'm just being straightforward. Have you visited the campus before? If you're not used to going to a big school in a metropolitan area then it might be something new to you. I went to CSUF in Fullerton. Even though CSUF was a fairly big school, the campus and parking was not nearly as complicated, and Fullerton is still a fairly suburban neighborhood. But ya know, that's just me. But hey, if you're up for UCLA life, more power to you! I'm just talking about the experiences I've heard. I'm sure there are also a lot of positives of UCLA life.
