Did anyone apply to UCLA's MECN Program for Fall 2009?

Just wondering if anyone else applied to this program. I went to UCLA for undergrad but I pretty much think I have no shot of getting into this grad program.

Does anyone know anything about how many people they admit? What they are looking for?

Well, I guess the key here is that I didn't feel threatened, so it was funny to me. I laughed out loud right there.

I wouldn't feel threatened, i'd just feel sick! :p

My sister checked my mail today and I received the bad news. I did not get in! Oh well, it's MSMC for me if they'll have me. My specs in case you're interested... Last 60 or 90 units gpa 3.9, roughly 3.5 prereq gpa. No hospital volunteer experience whatsoever. This may have hurt me.

I don't think anyone really knows what they are looking for.

Also there are plenty of applicants on here that had amazing gpa's AND volunteer hospital experience and they still weren't admitted. So I really really don't know what they are looking for :/
