Just wondering if anyone else applied to this program. I went to UCLA for undergrad but I pretty much think I have no shot of getting into this grad program.
Does anyone know anything about how many people they admit? What they are looking for?
MECN2009, if you are around, I seriously hate to put you on the spot again, but you are the only one so far who has been accepted into this superhuman program. If you don't mind, could you please share with us your amazing stats? There has to be something about you that made you stand out among this excellent pool of applicants on this forum and I'm sure we're all dying to know what your stats are
Yeah I don't get it. I was Elvis for Halloween. He's super-human, right? Yes, I'm in Sunny San Diego, so if it's not here today, I think I can rest assured that I don't have to deal with LA traffic and can continue to spend my days in the sun without traffic and combustion. This can be a GOOD thing, guys!!
Haha musictonurse I was wednesday from the adams family for halloween.. I don't think she's super human so I probably won't get inI LOVE San Diego! You're lucky to live there!!
Well, you have to realize that I'm really stretching it here with the Elvis thing. Yes, I love it although it is 58 degrees right now, which is pretty cold for SD.

You know what, you're actually right. Even if I did get in, I still wouldnt have completely ruled out the possiblity of attending other schools I applied to. UCLA is in a very metropolitan area. All the schools I've attended are in semi-suburban areas, so simply going to school was never a "journey". I wasnt looking forward to the heavy traffic commute to LA. UCLA is such a big complicated campus and parking is extremely difficult. Even the idea of living near the campus didnt appeal to me because everyone I know who lived near or somewhat close to UCLA absolutely hated it. So I guess I'm not all TOO disappointed.

Thanks, you're in SoCal, right? Gosh, even if I don't get in, I'm kind of curious to see what super-human does.
