Just wondering if anyone else applied to this program. I went to UCLA for undergrad but I pretty much think I have no shot of getting into this grad program.
Does anyone know anything about how many people they admit? What they are looking for?
Hey guys, I am in total disbelief right now. I got into the program! Totally shocked. Apparently the acceptance letters went out in a separate batch. I called Shelli earlier. So I would say wait to call her if you can because the acceptances went out later I think. I'm just thinking if everyone starts calling her, she might be overwhelmed. But I just wanted to let you know that if you haven't heard yet, this is probably a good thing!!

OH MY GOSH!!! Music I'm soooooo happy for you... And incredibly jealous!!! Haha
Well done!!!!
I had a feeling that they went in a separate batch! But I live too far to make the judgement that not hearing means good news.
I'm going to wait till friday.. Good things come to those that wait!
I'm so so so pleased for you!!!
Thanks, honestly, I am no super being by any means. I mean besides the fact that I was Elvis for Halloween, I have no idea why they would select me over all these other amazing candidates. And I'm not just saying that. If you really must know my stats, I had a 3.9 GPA and 4.0 in my pre-reqs, double major, several honors societies, several volunteer experiences, trilingual. I don't have any health related experience besides my volunteer work. I also did some charity work/fundraising. So honestly, the only thing I can think of that's different is that I am from a completely different field than most. I can't really reveal that, but the woman at USD told me how I can really be used in the nursing profession, so I'm thinking that's what UCLA thinks.
I know I worked my butt off for this, which included many many sleepless nights, but I also know that you all did the same, so I sincerely feel for those who didn't get accepted. Like I've said before, I really think we should all get in.
That said, I am not even gonna believe I got in until I get my envelope. I'm still in total shock. I feel like it's a dream and someone is gonna wake me up soon.

I'm doing the same if I don't get it today. No need to prolong the suffering needlessly.
