Just wondering if anyone else applied to this program. I went to UCLA for undergrad but I pretty much think I have no shot of getting into this grad program.
Does anyone know anything about how many people they admit? What they are looking for?
I am really trying to resist the urge to go home, but I might have to do it. I do live really close so I'm not totally insane, right :) Although I think this is making everyone a little crazy. Thanks for being on here guys, 'cause it's really helping me not feel like a lunatic, at least. Wouldn't it be great if they said, "You guys are all such great candidates that we have decided to take you all!" Yippee

Awww well I think it's best if you don't go home because if you do and there still is no post, that will stress you out even more!
I agree, I think I'd be more stressed if this forum didn't exist.
When people from the forum start getting accepted and you all end up in the same class together, it'll be nice to sort of know people before class starts!
Do we really think we will find out today or later this week? I live like thirty miles away from UCLA, so it should just take a day to get here, right? I am happy to be home today with all this rain.
I live around 6000 miles away, so if they sent it by airmail it should take 3 days to get to me.
But if it's by standard post, it'll take 6-8 weeks!!
I sure hope they send it by airmail.
:/
You live 30 miles away?! Why don't you just go down there and ask what's up. I would totally storm down the doors too, but I live in Seattle.
As for mail, I'm not sure that distance is always the determining factor. I think it probably takes the same (or less) to get from one major city to another than from the same major city to a small town, even if the latter are closer. But this will all be academic once you've stormed down the doors and demanded an answer, Martinosa. I'm with you (in spirit)!
