Diagnostic lab book? Suggestions?

I finally got my book list, and I'm confused about one thing. I need a diagnostic lab book, any kind. I searched around, and I guess it's a lab book for blood results, etc.? Can someone explain what this is, and/or suggest a good one? Thanks.

I like Mosby's Manual of Diagnostic & Laboratory Tests (Pagana & Pagana). ISBN #0-323-01609-X.

It covers blood tests, urinalysis, x-ray studies ... just about everything. I particularly like its explanation of various x-ray studies, I guess because I think radiology is really cool. :chuckle

Good luck to you! :)

I totally agree with you MLOS. I LOVE, LOVE that book, all my friends borrowed it during clinical and since went out and bought it. :p

In my nursing program we were allowed to choose from 3 texts.

The one from Pagana and Pagana is on the list...and it's the one I plan to purchase. I've heard great things about this manual. The other 2 manuals were by Corbet (ISBN# - 0126493694) or by Schnell (ISBN# - 0803610424).
