I have had halotosis all my life. I have meticulous oral hygiene and have tried every method, product, gum, mints etc. I am being talked about, bullied, ostracized by my co-workers and managers. This affects me deeply and consumes my life. I have spoken w/ dentists and doctors. Any professional advice they give me, I have already done. How do I deal with this?

Well, we can't give you any medical advice. I'm sorry your co-workers are being bullies. Your employers should deal with that behavior ASAP. So far as products- listerine strips are really strong and minty. Maybe that will help.

Have you seen a Periodontist? i know we cannot give medical advice, but this type of specialist may be able to help you if the issue is the gums and not the teeth. I wish you much luck

The only thing I can think of is maybe bringing a toothbrush and toothpaste or travel sized mouthwash to work with you and using it every couple of hours when you use the bathroom. Antiseptic mouthwashes like listerine kill germs as well as freshen breath.

Have you tried putting a finger at the back of your mouth to press on your tonsils? It could be that they're chock full of these smelly white chunks of bacteria called tonsil stones, or tonsilloliths. If you express your tonsils, they'll pop out and your odor problems will be gone. I press on my tonsils about once a month to make sure none accumulate.

And you can do this without gagging or throwing up??? Wow

Berkely might be on to something; while a visit to a periodontist is definitely advisable, perhaps seeing an ENT surgeon would be a good idea. Your problem could lie in any part of your upper respiratory tract.

You say you have "spoken" with dentists and doctors. Have you had a thorough workup for this? Identifying the cause is the first step in addressing it.

Haltosis is better than no breath at all........:lol2:.

Your co-workers are bullies and should be disiplined. We can't give medical advice here....but when I used to smoke I found the listerine strips very helpful.
