just a shout out looking for friends. i really feel like i lost a lot of friends through nursing school, and now i've just moved. i'm a new nurse and could use some support, but mostly i'm hoping to find someone that i can get together with to work out. i'm sig overweight and could use a buddy helping me get into the swing of things
:monkeydance:
Nope. It was just way too much money for me to have to shell out plus they keep way too much drama for me to be able to handle dealing with them for another year. Too many changes; when I was going there, they cleaned house with the instructors, they fired all of them except for 2 and fired our program director to make way for the people they wanted to be there to run the program, then they began their 1+1 program. Our whole entire class was pi**ed, and that's putting it mildly. Our instructors cared about who we were and were willing to teach us if we were willing to learn. Now don't get me wrong, some of the replacements were wonderful and some they could've left them where they found them. All in all, I'm glad that Rets had the space available to allow me to reach my goal of becoming a nurse. Im not bitter, just glad the whole experience is over.
I go to RETS, Im in the bridge part of the ADN program the first week or two was really disorganized but they are over that now and thing are smooth. The instructors are really nice and treat you kindly. I really like the program so far. I would recommend it to any one who wants to pay, b/c they are pricey.
I graduated from Rets Jan 07. Just passed my boards and now I'm working at Southview Hosp in the Med/Surg dept.

Aug '06. Have you gone back for your RN? I might go back to RETs cause I figured it'd be easier to get my RN that way.
