3-10 days, waiting period for your name to be posted on their website.. but after 10 days, name's still not posted.. while others who took the exam on the exact same date like you did, already have their names posted [some people who took the exam on a later date then you did also have their names posted]..

is it still right for you to have a tiny ray of hope.. that maybe, just maybe.. like them.. you too passed?

or is it just false hope, and you're still in denial that you failed..

is it safe for you to assume that you failed, after 10 days.. still no news, no site of your name or whatsoever..

hard to assume that you DID not fail when almost everybody already got their results and passed..

Hello,

I am still waiting as well, I took my exam on 2/13. I had 78 questions, mostly priority, infection control with some meds. Most of my classmates saw their names a couple of days after taking the exam, I have heard anywhere from 2-6 business days. I read a post from a member whose name did not appear on the BRN website until three weeks after she took her exam (so at least this should be a little inspiring). She received her license on the week that she saw her name on the website. I believe she was Kameeli03. I will keep you posted with my results. I am glad that I am not the only one going through this miserably long wait. Anyways, lets keep hopeful and pray to God that we pass (I guess I am now in the bargaining phase, at least for now)

The wait is killing me, I hate how I automatically wake up at 3:30am to check the dreaded website, only to be rejected, it feels awful. I have been trying to do other things to get distracted. I have been going to the gym more often, and have lost more than ten pounds, woo hoo. I have been reading your posts and want you to know, at least, that you are definitely not alone.

Hi darthgirl: I am sharing your feelings right at this moment. Honestly, i'm already looking at my saunders and going over page by page. I know it's hard, but I just can't wait 2-4 weeks to get our result by mail, only finding out its the other way around. I'm slowly going to start studying again so just incase I get the bad news in the mail, I wouldn't feel that I should have done something while waiting. Besides, if I did fail, I will be eligible to take it again by April. By that time, I will be ready because I started sooner. However, If I receive that letter indicating that I pass, the extra time I put on studying will be towards to my personal gain. Its a win win situation. Worse case scenario, do you have a plan on how are you going to study next time for nclex? We should give each other some tips.

dmat, yeah it's actually a little insipiring.. hope whe get the same fate like her..

paul, IF we do fail.. that's a big IF.. hopefully we pass lol!! im planning to study by myself.. im not gonna take another review thingy since again IF we fail, looks like doesn't work for me.. lol!! i'll be reading saunders 4th edition.. probably like twice! or more.. depends.. then do tons of Q&A.. how about you? what do you plan to do??

Hi Darthgirl: I'm keeping my fingers crossed until the mail comes in. I have Saunders 3rd edition so I will spend at least 3-4 hours each day until I finish the book. Last time, I didn't used Saunders but relied only on Kaplan Q&A. Their strategy didn't helped much during the test. I need to seclude myself and do lots of questions until I find out if I pass or until I retake the exam.

awww man.. me too.. seclude myself AGAIN.. gosh @#!$!%^&*#@!!! that's how frustrated iam..

if we fail we should like give eachother tips and updates lol!!

if im really ******, my bro's slipknot songs helps.. all that yelling stuff lol!! im just having a hard time with all this waiting thing.. can't do nothing..

but iam hoping that we would pass...

Just an update...I have been back and forth with CA BRN and every time I call they give me a different story.

Some of them sound really helpful and after telling them that its been past 4 weeks and still no results, they transfer me to the person reviewing my file. All I get is an answering machine and I've left like 3 messages already without a call back.

Today I call them and the operator for the licensing tells me that it hasn't been 30 "business" days. I explain to them that it is suppose to be 2-4 weeks to receive results as stated by your website. She then proceeds to tell me that it is 30 business days and they're just waiting to send out my results.

You cannot understand the frustration I am in. I feel i've been doing my part and patiently waiting the 4 weeks they told me to. Now that it is past 4 weeks, they give me the run around and tell me the new thing about waiting 30 business days.

If you are talking about CA, it is now two to four weeks, not 3 to 10 days as before. This new time frame is posted on the BRN website. And no, you should not assume you have failed. You will verify that you failed, when you receive the letter stating that. Or the letter stating you passed. Continue to check on your results.

i can understand how you feel, waiting is soooo agonizing...just waiting for 3 days sucks what more than to wait 4 weeks, yikes! good thing i found out today that i passed, thank you sweet JESUS!

^ Yea their website says 2-4 weeks but over the phone I was told that it could take up to 30 business days which means 5+ weeks

As far as I'm concerned, three minutes is three minutes too long. Your file should be complete and approved prior to you being allowed to test. When the computer shuts down, it should provide the immediate unofficial result, which should be provided to you as you leave the testing center. Nothing less than this is acceptable.

CA's driving me insane!!
