Darn Kaplan!!!

This past week I was getting like 68-72 on the q banks but my last trainers were 5...54%, 6...56%...7...58%. I have been studying pretty much non stop for the past two weeks. I read the rationales for the wrong ones. Its extremely frustrating!! I also test this Fri, May 30th. ACKKK!!! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

My cumulative performance for the q bank is 60%. Am I not ready to take NCLEX on Friday????

i went and did a test for 3500 and got 75%. so which is right???

Typically people score 10 to 20 percentage points lower on Kaplan than on other NCLEX-style questions (i.e, NCLEX 3500, Saunders, etc.). That said it is important to review the rationales for all questions answered, those that you got correct as well as those you did not. It is by reviewing the rationales for all the questions that you add to your knowledge base and improve your critical thinking for NCLEX.

I know how frustrating Kaplan can be. I wouldn't worry too much about the scores. Keep studying and concentrating on your weak areas. I scored a 59% in QT #7, 2 days before my exam. I was stunned because I had studied my butt off. I went in and took my test anyways, as scheduled. I passed, with 75 Q's. In and out within an hour and a half. Good luck!!

It is true just as Leda stated for some reason ppl tend to score lower on kaplan than any other review:banghead:. I am currently doing the Kaplan complete and between the q bank and question trainer I am averaging 58%- 60% but when I do saunders 4 ed I am averaging 75%- 85%:no:.

Try not to stress for it will just build & build up until your exam and you don't want that. Try just focusing on one topic in the q bank if you want to see a higher score... I was extremely discouraged in the begining but a friend of mine just took her boards and passed :nurse:she didn't score higher than a 58% on anything related to kaplan not even on the readiness test. you know your stuff read the rationales and dont worry about the number you know the content just need to work on the answer:D
