Hi everyone - I am new here but am starting at DNI in the night program in August. I saw some old feedback, and was wondering if anyone has some recent feedback?

Suggawugga girl you are so right about DNI being disorganized..I applied for the September 7th class, only to find out that they are canceling the class. Boy was I upset:madface: because I've been calling, calling and calling, and each time I either did not get a response or somebody answered and said they were going call me back, and i never heard back from them..I never recieved a letter stating the class would be postponed or anything..So I ended up going up there myself. I am so disappointed with that school, it really turned me off..because to me there is no excuse for disorganization, and on top of that, no letters were sent or anything. Does anyone else have a comment or applied for Sept. and has not recieved a letter? The head lady in charge even showed me a letter that i personally believe she typed up while i was sitting outside waiting (15-20) min. I still have not recieved a letter of acceptance, non-acceptance,or postponement

are you currently in the partnership program

are you applying to DNI, I am looking at several nursing schools and not sure where to start. please help, it seems like you are sure of nursing school process.

Hello everyone! I am hoping someone can answer my question even though I think I know the answer. I am from California but I am planning to relocate to Dallas very soon. I spent a good amount of time reading all about DNI. My question is, if I receive my RN from DNI, do I have any chance of acceptance when I apply to a university like TWU for my bachelors in nursing? I notice a few people stated that credits don't transfer from DNI or one would have to start over if they want to pursue their bachelors at a university. I noticed DNI is not accredited by NLNAC and someone talked about how they are not "regionally" accredited and that is why their credits don't transfer. It's a little confusing.

I completed all my general studies at a community college and earned my lvn from Concorde in CA. So technically, I have all my english, math, psych, chem, anatomy, physio, micro etc from a community college. I hope this makes sense! I would appreciate it greatly if someone could help me. Thanks!

You might want to call DNI or go up there, probably going up there would be more beneficial. I, like you, am looking into applying to their bridge program since they accept more than once a year and I do not have time to sit in a classroom 4 days/week.

can anyone offer any tips or advice about going to dni? what type of math questions are on test?

How is the progress at DNI going so far? I like the extended part time 17 month LVN program although losing every Saturday for that long with a new born will be tough. The cost seems extremely high for an LVN so I'm looking at options. The flexibility is the only sell right now.

How was Concorde? There is one in Dallas I'm considering as well? Did you get your answers about DNI? If the classes don't transfer to a BSN program at a university then that defeats my whole purpose.

I think DNI has stopped admitting students. They got bought out by ATI or ATT or somebody. And there are some charges of misreporting the employment success of graduates. I read something about it in the news. It has gotten way too expensive, anyway. It's too bad there is such a long wait for el Centro.

There is also North Central Texas College, y'all should check that one out. There is an LVN program there. Also, they have an online-hybrid bridge program.
